          The Ereignisse is a movie which genre is fantasy. It was released last December 17, 2004. The director of the movie is Brad Silberling. The movie was about the three young Baudelaire siblings who left orphaned by a fire in their mansion. They are carted off to live with their distant relative, Count Olaf. Unfortunately, Olaf is a cruel, scheming man only after the inheritance that the eldest Baudelaire, Violet, is set to receive. The children escape and find shelter with their quirky Uncle Monty and, subsequently, their phobic Aunt Josephine, but Olaf is never far behind.

            I discovered the movie because of my Brother who encouraged me to watch it. I watched it last April.

            I was amazed by the three Baudelaire siblings. My favorite character is Violet Baudelaire, the eldest among the three. Violet became my favorite because she is willing to do anything to save her siblings, she is willing to give her life just to save them.

           The lesson that I learned about the movie is that we need to be independent, we cannot say when the time that our loved ones will gone and not everyone is willing to stay so we need to learn how to stand alone. We need to be united. We must be ready to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of our loved ones.

           My rating for this movie is 10/10. I would recommend everyone to watch this movie but most especially for the children.
