Stranger Things, a TV series

Stranger Things

(by Alesandra Nicole Robes)

My favorite TV Series is Stranger Things, directed by Matt and Ross Duffer. It is a sci-fi, horror-fi, occult-fi, and historical period drama by genre. Its first episode was aired on July 15, 2016.

The story started when Joyce Byer’s son, Will, goes missing. She then launches terrifying investigation into his disappearance. As they search for answers, they unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries involving secret government experiments, unnerving supernatural forces, and a very unusual little girl.

I discovered this series because of my classmate who first watched it. She gave me a copy of it and I watched it during summer vacation. Since it only has two seasons, with 17 episodes in total, I finished watching it in just two days.

I feel scared whenever I watch every single episode, but it’s interesting at the same time. Once you’ve seen the first episode, it will leave you a lot of questions that will be answered on the next episodes. My favorite character there is Eleven, the weird girl with supernatural powers. She’s amazing, and I want to possess her powers too.Aside from the happiness and satisfaction Stranger Things gave me, it also taught me to always support my friends. Teamwork is a must, and you can solve problems easier with them.

If I am asked to whom I will recommend it, my answer would be anyone at my age. It’s fun to watch and I know anybody who loves mysteries would enjoy it too. Teenagers could also watch it with their parents because surely, they would love it too.
